Good, not great, striking that the analyst says doesn't always look the cleanest but is effective because of real power in the hands and durability that has survived everything except a fight-ending eye poke. He is the better grappler of the two -- a very solid ground game with good back-takes, a deep submission arsenal he chains together (rear-naked choke is the go-to, with triangles also praised), and slick position-to-position transitions the analyst calls some of the best in the UFC outside dedicated jiu-jitsu specialists.
