Not betting advice. Bout Scout publishes statistical modelling and publicly available betting prices for analysis and entertainment. It is not gambling advice, investment advice, a tip service, or a prediction of any outcome, and it is not sold. No wager can be placed here and no money changes hands on this site.

These terms govern your use of bout-scout.com (the "site"). By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
1. What the site is
The site publishes the output of a fight simulation model alongside odds sourced from a third-party aggregator, together with historical fight statistics. Everything published is an opinion generated by software and a report of public information. It is offered "as is", for information and entertainment.
2. No advice, and no reliance
Nothing on this site is a recommendation to place a bet or to refrain from placing one. The figures described as "picks", "calls", "tiers", "stakes" or "units" are a way of scoring the model's own performance against a consistent, publicly stated method — they are a scoreboard for the model, not instructions to you.
Any decision you make with your own money is yours alone. Past performance of the model, including any record, profit figure or return published on this site, does not predict future results, and small samples in particular can produce percentages that look like a rate and are not one. You should assume you will lose money betting on combat sports.
3. Accuracy, and the limits of it
We make a genuine effort to be accurate and to publish our misses alongside our hits. We nonetheless make no warranty that anything on the site is correct, current, or complete. Odds move, feeds break, upstream data is sometimes wrong, and a model is by definition an approximation. Prices shown are indicative and are not an offer — the price available to you at a sportsbook may differ.
4. Legality is your responsibility
Sports betting is regulated differently in every jurisdiction and is illegal in some. You are solely responsible for knowing and obeying the law where you are. Nothing here is an inducement to gamble unlawfully, and we do not target or knowingly serve jurisdictions in which the content would be unlawful.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site or its APIs beyond what robots.txt permits, and do not use it in a way that degrades service for others. The simulation endpoints are expensive to run.
- Do not resell, redistribute or republish the site's output as your own product or as a paid tip service.
- Do not attempt to gain access to non-public areas, or to interfere with the site's operation or security.
6. Intellectual property and third-party data
The simulation engine, the site's design, code and written copy are owned by the operator of Bout Scout. Underlying data is not, and is used as follows:
- Fight and round statistics derive from the public Greco1899/scrape_ufc_stats dataset, which its maintainer distributes under the GNU GPL v3.0. Factual sporting results are reported as facts.
- Career records and biographical detail derive from Wikipedia and are used under CC BY-SA 4.0; such text remains under that licence and may have been modified.
- Betting prices are licensed from The Odds API.
Bout Scout is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Zuffa, TKO Group Holdings, any sportsbook, or any athlete. Names and marks belong to their owners and are used descriptively to identify the events and people being reported on.

7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Bout Scout is not liable for any loss or damage — including gambling losses, lost profit, or losses arising from reliance on anything published here — resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the site. The site is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Availability and changes
The site is a personal project run on modest infrastructure. It may be slow, interrupted, or withdrawn at any time without notice, and features may change or disappear. We may amend these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed materially, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
