Beneil Dariush

Picked against, with the analyst saying it's genuinely unfortunate given real respect for both fighters, but the durability concern decides it.

No longer at his physical peak, but when he's on, he's still capable of hanging with the best fighters alive at this weight. His striking is genuinely sound, built on solid combinations that frequently close with a leg kick, and the body kick is arguably his single best tool on the feet. He's precise and usually generates a healthy amount of output. He also uses a flying knee to explode into range and set up the Thai clinch, where real damage tends to follow. His grappling remains a legitimate weapon -- if he can drag a fight onto the mat early and keep it there, he has a real chance, thanks to genuinely excellent takedowns and a track record that's hard for opponents to match, including one notable win over a fighter who isn't easily out-wrestled. He takes the back well too, with scrambling ability that ranks among the very best in the promotion and a genuinely deep submission game. The real, deciding issue is that his durability can no longer be counted on -- he's been hurt or finished in nearly every one of his recent outings.
