Insider info
Abus Magomedov favored over Dustin Stoltzfus emphatic UFC Paris · August 29, 2022
grapplingvery good
He calls it cut and dry and an easy pick, saying he doesn't see a path for Stoltzfus barring a lingering injury issue on the other side.
Magomedov pairs sharp, opportunistic grappling with a striking style that isn't pretty but has proven effective, including finishes outside the UFC. The analyst sees him as live everywhere this fight goes, given his opponent's shaky takedown and submission defense along with inconsistent striking. Barring a lingering injury issue, he's treated as the clear favorite in this matchup.
