Rodriguez is the more aggressive, higher-volume boxer with good combinations, but her hands drop as fights wear on and her conditioning fades, a pattern that was visible in their first meeting when she was noticeably gassed and taking damage against the cage by the third round. Her clinch work is arguably her best tool, especially body knees and elbows upstairs. She also gets to the mat frequently, but her control time is minimal; in the first fight she scored roughly six takedowns and barely held any of them for more than a couple of seconds, so she rarely got to actually hunt the finish she wants once there.
