Insider info
Robert Valentin favored — picked against Dusko Todorovic lean UFC Fight Night: Medic vs Rodriguez · July 26, 2026
grapplingdecent
Picked against reluctantly, on the reasoning that his striking defense and durability have faded to the point the analyst no longer trusts him to absorb what's coming.
Built his UFC path on being all offense and no defense -- constant forward pressure and volume with real combinations -- but his striking defense has faded and he is now getting dropped by most significant shots that land. Decent takedowns and good ground strikes on top, but poor takedown defense as well.
Strengthheavy forward pressure and volume
Strengthcan put together real combinations
Weaknessstriking defense has faded and he's now getting dropped often
Weaknesstakedown defense also isn't good
