Picked with real uncertainty voiced throughout -- the analyst says he's genuinely torn and frames the whole read around how the former champion bounces back psychologically from losing the title.
A former champion coming off a title loss, with the outcome hinging on how he responds to that setback. Solid striker, very unorthodox and clunky-looking but effective, with good forward pressure, heavy volume and power, and combinations that land despite looking strange. Durable and tough. Good grappler with powerful takedowns of his own, heavy ground strikes on top, good front chokes, and a pace so chaotic it can take away even good-cardio opponents' rhythm.
Strengthunorthodox but effective forward-pressure striking with real power and volume
Strengthdurable, takes a punch well
Strengthgood grappler with powerful takedowns and heavy ground strikes
Strengthchaotic pace that disrupts opponents' rhythm
Weaknesshow he responds mentally to his first UFC title loss is a genuine unknown
