Insider info
Trey Ogden favored — picked against Tommy Gantt lean UFC Fight Night: Allen vs Costa · May 10, 2026
Picked clearly on tools and physical gifts, with the analyst flagging real caution given the opponent's track record of turning back hyped prospects on a UFC debut.
Making his UFC debut. Good striker with a good jab poked out behind long straights, knees, and elbows, controlling range very deliberately -- jabs from range and, as an opponent closes distance to deal with the jab, punishes that closing with knees and elbows. His real strength is the grappling and wrestling: most of his takedowns come off a good cage push, with good dirty boxing and knees mixed in once against the cage; hard to take down himself, and once on top he floats from position to position, beating the opponent to the next spot -- sometimes even letting an opponent back up just to mat-return and float again. Very good, varied ground and pound. Genuinely athletic with a great build for the sport -- long wingspan but lean.
