Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani favored — picked against Seokhyeon Ko lean UFC Fight Night: Du Plessis vs Usman · July 12, 2026
strikinggood grapplingsolid

Picked on a clean stylistic argument -- both are skilled and talented, but he expects a horrible matchup for the opponent given how hard this fighter is to take down.

Good striker who is light on his feet, darts in and out, and puts out a lot of volume with a heavy leg kick plus sharp head movement, working the body and counter-striking well. One puzzling, unpredictable habit is flagged: he occasionally abandons clean, technical striking to dip his head and swing wild for no clear reason. Solid grappler with a very good sprawl that makes him genuinely hard to take down, good clinch takedowns, strong throws, a very solid top game, and good ground strikes.

He rates Ko as the technically sharper, more well-rounded fighter and expects him to dictate the pace on the feet.

Ko is light on his feet, darting in and out behind heavy one-two volume, a hard leg kick, and real head movement, and he counters effectively when opponents come to him. His only real knock is an occasional lapse into wild, off-balance swinging that keeps him from grading out even higher. On the ground he's got a strong sprawl, gets takedowns out of the clinch and via throws, and once on top brings heavy pressure and ground-and-pound - a more smothering top game than his opponent's.
