Gives the edge to the veteran boxer but calls it a genuinely close fight, noting the takedown path alone could easily be enough for the other side.
A high-volume, accurate boxer with quick hands, good footwork, and a jab that's nearly impossible to read coming, able to fight from either stance and vary his rhythm to keep opponents guessing; on the feet he should be able to comfortably out-box this opponent. The concern is entirely on the mat, where his takedown defense is poor and he can be controlled there, though his submission defense holds up well and he's shown he can scramble back to his feet often enough against comparable competition.
