Rendon's striking is loose and unrefined, since she'll swing wildly just to close into the clinch and is willing to give up ground doing it, because hitting isn't really the point for her, getting takedowns is. She'll reach for legs even when it leaves her exposed, a clear tell that a takedown attempt is coming. Her grappling is more useful than her hands: decent takedown defense, a good cage push into double-unders that lets her control opponents there, and a knack for scoring takedowns off catching kicks.
